Material Notes The essential oil is water or steam distilled also from the crushed cones of Abies Alba. The cones consist of seeds with a heavy protective tissue. The seeds contain the Templin Oil. The trees grow wild and there is a certain limit to the amount of cones that can be collected. The oil is regularly produced in Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Yugoslavia, but only on a very modest scale.
Essential oil obtained from the cones of the fir Abies alba, Pinaceae. It contains mainly L-limonene.
