Material Notes | One of the most important of all the oakmoss products if not the most important is the Absolute of Oakmoss. It is generally prepared by alcohol extraction of the concrete. For florals, use jasmin, rose, cassie, or orangeflower. For freshness use bergamot, lemon, linalool-linalyl acetate, or citronellyl formate. For stability and depth use patchouli, vetiver, coumarin, or musks. For tone use ylang, coriander, sweet orange, tarragon, or vanillin. |
