Material Notes | Absolute oil of Fir Needles. Owing to the increasing interest of international customers in alpine odors, manufacture takes place on a large scale of the essential oils derived from different species of pine, fir, black pine, silver fir, all having characteristics shared by conifers but each differing in certain specific details in each note. The products that come from France as Absolu d'Aiguilles are as a rule those from Abies alba.
